Always wanted to learn? This is the one to check off the bucket list. Finally Skateboarding exists for women who've watched from the side of the park and decided this year is the year.

The rules of the session are simple. No unsolicited advice. No aggressive energy. No judgement. Just a group of women learning the same thing at the same time, with someone whose entire job is keeping you safe while you find your balance.

What you'll learn

  • Standing and balancing on a board without panic
  • Pushing and cruising comfortably
  • Stopping safely and predictably
  • Turning and carving at your own speed
  • How to fall in a way that protects your wrists
  • Enough confidence to go back to a park on your own

How a session runs

01

Safety first, always

The single biggest thing stopping women from starting is fear of getting hurt. We front-load falling technique and pad fitting before anything moves.

02

No commentary

No one explains what a truck is unless you ask. No one films you. No one offers a tip you didn't want.

03

Leave able to cruise

The goal of the session is simple and achievable: leave able to ride, push and stop on your own.

Women's Sessions questions

How much are women's skateboard lessons?

$25 for a one-hour class or $50 for a two-hour class. Board tune-ups and sizing advice are included; plan to bring your own board and gear, or let the coach know ahead of time if you need extras.

I'm completely uncoordinated. Is that a problem?

It really isn't. Balance on a skateboard is a learned skill, not a talent, and every single person in the class is at the same starting point.

What should I wear?

Flat closed-toe shoes, comfortable clothes you can move in, and hair tied back. Plan to bring your own helmet and pads when possible; let the coach know ahead of time if you need extras.

Is there an age limit?

None. We've had eighteen-year-olds and seventy-year-olds in the same class.
