Skateboarding lessons in Castle Rock are coached by Evan, who has 30 years on a board. One lesson can be split between up to four friends. We coach ages 3 to 70+ and meet at Castle Rock Skatepark at Metzler Ranch Community Park, choosing the park that best fits your level.
Castle Rock is the southern end of our coaching range and one of the fastest-growing parts of it. Families here have good parks and very few coaching options, so most of our Castle Rock bookings come from parents who've been driving to Denver for lessons and would rather not.
We run every program here — adults, kids and teens, Skater Tots, women's sessions and private events — at the same rates as the rest of the metro.
Castle Rock sits higher and windier than the metro floor. We schedule beginner sessions earlier in the day here, because a crosswind is a genuine problem when you're still learning to hold a straight line.
Castle Rock is where we meet riders from Monument, Larkspur and Franktown. It's the shortest drive for anyone south of the county line.
Riders come to us from The Meadows, Founders Village, Plum Creek, Castlewood Ranch and everywhere in between.
We meet at whichever local park fits your current ability — not the biggest one, the right one. First-timers get wide flat concrete and no audience.
We check your board, fit your pads and talk through how to fall safely before any riding starts. Bring your own gear where possible; mention it when booking if you can't.
Sessions are built around one realistic target. You'd be amazed what landing one small thing on day one does for week two.
