Skateboarding lessons in Aurora are coached by Evan, who has 30 years on a board. One lesson can be split between up to four friends. We coach ages 3 to 70+ and meet at Aurora Skatepark (Wheel Park), choosing the park that best fits your level.
Aurora is Colorado's third-largest city and has quietly built some of the best free skate terrain on the Front Range. For our purposes that's excellent news: newer concrete, wider beginner areas, and nothing like the crowd pressure of the Denver skatepark.

Aurora Skatepark's street plaza and wide flat make it one of the calmest places in the metro to learn as an adult. Roughly a third of everyone who books a women's only session with us skates in Aurora, and those groups regularly stay together as a riding crew after the block finishes.

Our default Aurora location. 20,000 square feet of concrete with a street plaza on one side and a 10-foot bowl on the other, so a first-timer can work the flat while an experienced rider laps the deep end. Free, outdoor, no lights — daytime and early evening only.

Aurora's parks were built or resurfaced more recently than Denver's flagship park. Smoother concrete matters more than people think for a first lesson — small wheels catch on rough surfaces and cause most beginner falls.
Aurora Skatepark on South Chambers Road sits minutes from the I-225 corridor, which makes it the practical meeting point for riders coming from Central Park, Green Valley Ranch and Southeast Aurora.

Aurora Skatepark at 2465 S Chambers Rd is our primary Aurora location. Absolute first-timers work the flat and street plaza before going anywhere near the bowl.
Yes — Aurora is where our women's only small-group sessions run most often. They're coached by a woman instructor and capped at six riders.
Weekend morning slots in Aurora typically book out a week ahead in summer. Weekday evenings are usually available with a few days' notice.
