A LIFETIME ON FOUR WHEELS.
Evan is a professional skateboarder with 30 years on a board. He's coached everyone from four-year-olds landing their first tic-tac to parents in their forties dropping into their first mini-ramp. There's no "too old" and there's no "too shy" — just the next thing you haven't tried yet. Nothing about a session is stressful: the learning is playful and gamified, broken into small wins, and paced so that progress feels inevitable rather than earned through gritted teeth.
He's traveled the world giving demonstrations with multiple skate companies, and helped design and build new skateparks in communities that needed them most. One of his proudest moments: performing a live demo at the first skatepark in Egypt.
Back home in Denver, Evan pours all of that into Colorado Skateboarding Lessons — formerly known as Rocky Mountain Shred School — coaching adults, women, teens, kids and little ones across the metro. You'll be hard-pressed to find a more approachable, empowering skateboarding educator anywhere in Colorado.

Skateboarding is the rare thing where a nine-year-old and a sixty-nine-year-old learn the same trick on the same day, and neither of them finds that strange. Intergenerational learning isn't a programme here — it's just what happens at the park.
Our riders range from three to seventy-plus. The older ones bring patience, the younger ones bring nerve, and everybody progresses by watching someone slightly better than they are.
