Skateboarding is one of the few things a kid can do where progress is entirely their own. Nobody hands them the trick. They fall, adjust, and get it — and that loop builds resilience in a way very little else does.
Our kids and teens track keeps them growing through challenges rather than plateauing. Real balance, real body awareness, and a coach who knows the difference between a kid who needs pushing and a kid who needs a breather.

How a session runs
Meet and gear up
Helmet and pads checked for fit. Full safety gear is recommended and we'll always help you get it right — but plan to bring your own. If you don't have any, let the coach know ahead of time.
One target per session
Scattergun teaching doesn't stick. Each lesson has one clear target — a first ollie, a first ramp, riding switch — and we work at it until it clicks.
Something to take home
A written progression list so practice between lessons builds on the last session rather than starting over.
Kids & Teens questions
How much are kids skateboard lessons?
$100 per hour, one-on-one or split between up to four kids. Ask about the 4-pack — four lessons booked together, with $50 off when you get a group of four.
What age can kids start skateboarding lessons?
Six is our usual minimum for structured lessons. Younger than that, our Skater Tots program is built specifically for little ones.
Is safety gear required?
Recommended, not required. We check helmet and pad fit and we'll always encourage them, especially on ramps. Plan to bring your own gear; if you don't have any, let the coach know ahead of time.
Can my kid learn with friends?
Yes, and it usually goes better. Up to four kids can share a lesson and split the fee — friends push each other harder than a coach can.
